Rajasthan Technical University (RTU)’s online admission portal, several undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supervised by the affiliated colleges, have been made available to the students. 1. To get yourself enrolled, kindly visit the RTU (www.rtu.ac.in) website.
2. Choose "Online Application" from the home page menu to pursue your admission process online.
3. Please create your account by inputting the relevant necessary information. Check your current email id and mobile number for correctness.
4. The login process requires using your registered id and password.
5. Pick your own course from the assortment of programs and colleges/institutions that run them.
6. Insert the application in the web. Upload photos, signature, age proof documents, academics, category etc. documents and enter them as per the specifications.
7. Apply online for the free of any fee and payment can be made online through options such as credit/debit card, net banking etc.
8. Submit a completed Rajasthan technical university application form by accessing the file on your desktop, changing it, and then sending it back to the university.
9. Download and print as much of the filled in form as you may need.
10. Wait untill the institute check your registration request. On approval of your application, you will be notified by mail/sms, whichever is appropriate.
11. Attend institute you applied for on all the admission dates set for your document verification and fee to avail your admission.

- RTU offers the BTech, MTech, MBA, and various other programs online by using their website. In order to apply, they first need to register and do it through the website.
- Selection of students for BTech department is done based on merit in the JEE Main, JEE Advanced, REAP, etc. This is because there are no other additional tests conducted especially by the RTU.
- Studies of MTech are made according to the GATE scores or grades acquired in the qualifying examination, for the same.
- If you are shortlisted for MBA or other PG programs in any of the renowned institute of your choices, you have to appear in a group-discussion and an interview round conducted by the college authorities.
- However, unlike the top institutes across the country, the RTU does not have its own entrance exam to determine a student’s readiness for the course they are seeking admission into. Therefore, the applicants have to have taken exams like JEE and GATE and meet the cutoff score. It is students with the highest scores are admitted to the university either by their rank/merit in entrance exams or degree marks.

- Candidate shall have +2 or equivalent examination cleared by a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. The minimum percentage of agreement differs between programs and categories.
- For the bachelor of technology programmes, students must have passed 10+2 with PCM subjects and the minimum cutoff percentage is also required in their intermediate examination. Additionally, it is crucial for them to clear an engineering entrance exams like JEE Mains with good percentiles.
- In fact, diploma programs may not require deep knowledge of PCM and how you perform in 10+2 is sufficient. on the other hand few colleges might dictate the cut off in 12th boards.
- Minimum mark for entering reserved category is relaxed in various occasions.
- Even students who are in the twelveth can apply provisionally and the release of the list is subject to fulfillment of the criteria after the publication of their board results.
