The Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) which was named after the former Haryana Chief Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal offers online admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines like science, commerce, arts, education, engineering, law and management.
The web-based admission portal allows applicants to earn a login ID and a password by using their names and email addresses. They can further choose from different programs, fill the application forms, upload scanned copies of necessary documents like photographs, signatures, certificates, mark sheets, make the payment for application fee and all of this can be done online via net banking, debit/credit card payment or UPI.
The application is reviewed and shortlisted applicants are called for counseling, if necessary, before the final merit list is announced on the university website. The shortlisted candidates are then required to log in and pay the registration fees as specified in the given timeframe to secure their admission. The letter of admission can be downloaded once all admission formalities have been completed from the account on the portal.

1. Go to the university's homepage, the website - cdlu.ac.in is the best way to stay updated on the latest information about the university.
2. On the homepage, click on the "Admissions" tab and then go for your desired course or program.
3. You will be diverted to the admission portal. Click the "New Registration" button if you are putting your feet inside the shop for the first time.
4. Complete all the fields in the application form as instructed. Please provide your email address and it should be written correctly, the same should go for your phone number.
5. The admission window opens only once a year. So, please, submit you scanned photo and signature, as well as any other documents requested here. Be sure that the documents are in the required formats only.
6. Choose any one of the following payment options: net banking, debit/credit card, UPI, or any other online payment gateway as there shown.
7. Fill in the blanks with care and correctness; then, press Save and Submit after ensuring all the details are correct. In addition to this, get a print out for future references.
8. After receiving your application number and registration, click on the login button and begin typing your application number and password. Make sure that your application is in progress. Do the remaining admissions formalities if your application is on the shortlist.
9. Report the university/ department on the assigned date for document scrutiny and approval upon selection list declaration.

- 10+2 passed or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum marks required will be the basis for admission.
- As for UG programs entry requirements, they have to have passed the 10+2 exam in relevant stream.
- A Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline is generally required for PG with minimum marks percentage required.
- Some programs might have extra requirements such as entrance test scores and so on.
- It is possible that the academic criteria (minimum scores) for students of reserved categories may be relaxed.
- If applicants are older than the specified age for the program they should not be allowed to participate.

2. First, you need to create an account by giving info like name, email ID, mobile number and etc.
3. Sign-in using your credentials, and then correctly enter the information in the online application form. Make sure that all the details that are asked from you, both personal, academic and others are filled in correctly.
4. Add your picture, signature, certificates, and other documents once you finish filling out the form. These include your 10thth, 12th mark sheets, Aadhaar card and so on.
5. Payment of the application fee can be done through online payment methods such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
6. Study and send your CDLU application from form. Print and save for offline use.
7. You can monitor your application status by logging into the portal. If you are lucky enough to be allotted it, you will be able to get the provisional allotment letter online for each round of allotment.
8. Attend your assigned office daily within the scheduled time to verify the documents and pay the fee to the department to complete your admission.
